The Vitality Show

14th March 2009

Do you want to find the key to looking and feeling great this year? Then make a date with friends and head down to The Vitality Show 2009.

Europe’s largest health, beauty and wellbeing show is celebrating its 10th birthday and promising even more premium names, fabulous experiences and experts. It’s the ultimate girls’ day out, with a great hands-on approach, and more experiences to try than ever before. The Healing Herb Garden and the Health and Nutrition Stage are the perfect stop offs for girls in need of a nutritional boost, while the Zest Fitness Park provides an excuse to put on those trainers and get stuck into a workout session or dance class.

Those who are seeking relaxation rather than perspiration can take refuge in the luxurious surroundings of the Vitality Day Spa with its massages, reflexology and facials. After a treatment or two there, visitors might care to take advantage of the nails inc. bar, and/or the hair makeovers and styling tips from the hair salon. Other must-visit experiences include: The Oasis, a calming zone where guests can try out alternative therapies at a fraction of the cost; The Top Santé Anti-Ageing Clinic, full of talks from experts on how to look ten years younger; and, for the final touches, the fashionistas’ favourite Style Theatre.

To mark ten years of providing help and advice to the modern stylish woman, the organisers will also be unveiling The Good, The Bad and The Ugly – an exhibition exploring a decade of health and beauty innovations and revelations for visitors to look at, touch and giggle about.

The show wouldn’t be complete, of course, without a range of well known and world class experts offering talks and insider tips to women on issues from hair and beauty to fitness and nutrition and well-being, leaving visitors feeling not only pampered but full of industry secrets to put into practice at home.

The Vitality Show takes place at Earls Court 2, Warwick Road, London SW5 9TA from 26 to 29 March (1pm-9pm on Thursday 26 March, 10am-6pm on the other three days.) Tickets cost £14.50 in advance or £17.50 on the door.

Optima Magazine has five pairs of tickets to give away to the Vitality Show 2009. Send your name and address on a postcard to Vitality Show Competition, Optima Magazine, 20 Sparrows Herne, Bushey, Herts WD23 1FX, along with the answer to this question: How long has the Vitality Show been taking place? Entries must be received by 18 March, and will be entered into a draw to win.
