Christmas Cover Competition 2009
18th December 2009
This year’s Christmas Cover Design competition produced some lovely colourful entries from young artists in the local area. It’s great to see that youngsters are still happy to sit down for an afternoon with paints or pens and paper, and get in touch with their creative side.
As always, it was a real challenge for the judges… how to decide between snowmen or santa, reindeer or robins, for example?
The winner – after some serious deliberation – was 13-year old Emma Lubel from Pinner, whose delicate painting of a snowman decorating his Christmas Tree was both clever and well executed.
Congratulations to Emma, who receives £50 of Hobbycraft vouchers.
Very well done too, to our seven ‘highly commended’ entrants, and to all the other youngsters whose designs made us smile, and helped us get into the festive spirit early.
Select Gallery in the navigation bar above to see all the entries – and send the link to friends and family so that they can see it too!
