Putting Children First

Sponsored Content

Kip McGrath Education Centres have always led the way in providing out of school tuition of the highest standard for school-aged children, but now at their Pinner Centre they’ve gone that little bit further and extended the age range to cater for pre-school and reception age children. Now in its fourth year, the Pinner Centre has earned a reputation for putting children first and Centre Director, Alison Owen, believes that these new courses are perfect for giving children a positive start to school.

The Get Ready for School Pre-School Programme introduces phonics and numbers, developing hand eye co-ordination, computer use, gross motor skills and colour sense. Pre-schoolers develop an increased understanding of sharing, teamwork, listening, and following instructions, and are well prepared for the transition to Reception.

Little Learners Reception Class helps children to gain and understand basic knowledge and concepts, covering reading, comprehension, phonics, maths and intellectual skills including visual memory, auditory and visual discrimination, auditory sequencing and phonemic awareness. Increasing these abilities will help children not only in their second year of school, but throughout their schooling.

So no matter how old or young your child is we can help!
