The Kip McGrath Northwood Education Centre opened in September 2008 to serve the community’s need for after school and week-end tuition. The centre is part of the international Kip McGrath franchise of which there are over 200 centres in the UK.

Kip McGrath offer professional tuition in English, Maths and Science to pupils aged 6 to 16 by qualified teachers using a unique tutoring method where original computer programs, workbooks, homework and audio activities are combined to teach, revise and extend.  The focus is on tangible improvement, particularly for key stage 1, 2, 3, 11+ and GCSE students. All abilities are catered for – from those having difficulty in learning to those who would like to extend their skills beyond their peer group norm.

Kip McGrath have been instrumental in developing simple successful learning methods that deliver efficient, effective study programmes. It is this philosophy that has led to the sustained growth and popularity of its centres throughout the world.

Before tuition commences a full diagnostic assessment (at no cost) is carried out.  After consultation with the parent an individual education plan is drawn up, and pupils attend the centre at least once a week, after school or on Saturdays.
