Haberdashers' Aske's School for Girls, in Elstree, works hard at promoting girls’ self-esteem. Whether girls join the Habs family at 4+, 5+ or 7+, there is always a warm welcome for them; older pupils help the staff to create a caring ethos. There is a buzz about the place and it is our intention to enable each girl to find something in which she can be successful. We aim for our girls to be enthusiastic and confident but not cocky. All pupils are encouraged to aim high and relish the challenges of a very broad curriculum. Energetic teaching staff and outstanding facilities make learning exciting and fun. Girls are encouraged to understand their responsibility to others in our community and in the wider world.

Rainbow, our reception class, provides the youngest members of the Habs family with opportunities to explore the world of learning and to express themselves in words, imaginative play, music, dance, role-play, art and design technology.

Girls who join the school at 5+ enjoy a broad and balanced curriculum from the start, including twice-weekly Japanese lessons.
